B&D enjoys a long-standing relationship with Grunau Project Development and worked with them on this project where we provided the rough carpentry on the shell package.
Potawatomi are “Keepers of the Fire.” Outside the casino’s entrance there stands a huge tower of fire that reaches a height of 120 feet. Rough blocking on this large tapered structure was quite the undertaking for B&D carpenters.
B&D’s tradespeople worked in close collaboration with the other trades and were responsible for installation of doors, frames and hardware, and finish carpentry. This labor-intensive project was completed around the original casino’s full 24-7 operation.
B&D was the 2001 winner of “Commercial Decorative Category” by the Wisconsin Ready Mix Concrete Association for all the colored and stamped concrete on the Casino.
